I use one for the I fund.

AGG, Welcome to the board ap. Read the chat in the "F" fund Forum, lots of info. Most of the time the AGG isn't exactly correct and it can be calculated using TNX Ten year bond and TXY 30 year bond. Read how there!!

Tom Crowley, proprietor of TSPTalk, recently changed the F-Fund symbol from AGG to TLT. TLT took a huge nosedive today whereas AGG remained stable. I tried to find the TNX and TXY symbols you mentioned, but they're unknown to Yahoo Finance.
I think someone should do an analysis to determine if the symbol change had a measurable impact on investment in the F-Fund. I, for one, will move my F-Funds to the G-Fund ASAP.

Here is a plot of AGG, TLT, IEF and SHY for the last 3 months.

I don't understand how the F-fund share price is calculated.

I do understand why TLT has gone up during the time that bonds interest rates have gone down. I don't understand how AGG hasn't done better.

That F-fund:
Since 10-1-8 4.2%
Since 12-1-8 4.87%

Today's F-fund share should be interesting. AGG was up 1.5% and TLT was down 2.5%.

The Beagle Boys (FRTIB & Barclays) will probably knock the price down two or three cents.

F-fund is up less than a penny. How sweet of them .
