When the EU was touted as being the prevention of individual countries falling prey to unscrupulous global events, and now is actually turning on itself, (Deutschland) where is the fix?.....It's great until you want to reach into the other's pocket for help.
Do we really need another excuse or wikipedia post to show that this is all smoke and mirrors? Or can we take this news at face value?:blink:

If they weren't part of the EU currency, they could not get away with this (the value of their currency would be in the basement).
