Discuss Market Comments 07/13/11

Interesting action - Stocks were all over the place yesterday as the futures were sharply lower in the early pre-market trading hours, the open was flat, we saw seesaw action above and below the break-even mark for much of the day, then a quick, sharp spike higher after rumors of a QE3 spread, followed by a weak close. The Dow closed down 59-points...

Still hangin' in there. Thanks again for all your help. I missed most of the downside in 2007-08 but was only 50% invested on the following upside. I've been totally screwed up this year guessing wrong more than not (laugh). I guess I should be grateful that I'm up more than down. I pretty much missed this latest one week "swoosh" to the upside, being in the G fund. Now, with the market heading back down...I'm still hesitant to get back in. Summers are notoriously "iffy," and my inclination is to just take a deep breath, wait to see some higher highs and higher lows before I jump back in. I think the market will do fine in the fall and winter after the dust settles.
