I'm not sure whether to post this in the Real Estate folder or Crypto folder, but figured we needed a thread to talk Metaverse / Digital / Virtual Land as people are speculating on it either being the next big thing, or next big bubble.

You can tell when you're getting old when you look at something that everyone's excited about, and all I can think is, WTF? Buying property in a fake world? :dunce:

Of course I thought YouTube would never work because who would want to watch other people's home videos? Now I get it.

Ya I didn't really grasp how big its getting until reading that article just now. $400K for the plot of land next to Snoop Dog... flipping private islands from $15K to $300K.... this isn't just real money, it's massive chunks of money. I don't know how these digital worlds work, but I'm very curious now.

A few "metaverse" tokens I've been tracking are MANA (Decentraland) and SAND (The Sandbox) from the article below, and then AXS (Axie Infinity, a Mark Cuban investment).
