Although I am not new to tsptalk I have been merely a bystander and just sit back and read others post, etc. I am Active Duty Air Force, been in for 10 years now. I thought I would start posting. I really enjoy reading everyone's post and look forward to contributing to the tsptalk family

I have been in the G fund for most of this year. I bought into the I fund 100% on 23 Jan 08 at $21.45 a share then jumped back to G fund 100% on 1 Feb 08 so I got lucky and hit the peak, the I fund was at $22.97 when I sold. Today before the deadline I made another interfund transfer back to 100% I which is where I stand now.

Thank you, I am pretty excited I got my penny in the G and i'll be buying into the I fund @ $21.57

The penny is always welcome and I believe the I is the place to be tomorrow.... After that yer on yer own.

I don't know what next week will hold. Earnings season is winding down and it's been a toss up whether it is good or bad. We still may test the lows of January so go easy and wait for the market to settle down before you put all of your chips down on stocks.

I've been keeping 50% in reserve for what may be the eventual bottom. Hopefully soon. Good luck and watch the leaders.

I made a move to 100% I a few days ago to hopefully make a quick gain, couldn't post it because I couldn't access the boards. I am probably going to hop back to G Fund COB today will decide within the next 20-25 min.
