Consumer Goods trading strategy gets 15% in FY15

So by this blog The trading person is getting about 15% return on his trading by sticking to consumer staples in the last year. That seems a lot better than most are getting. Does anyone have a good enough grasp to explain this in simpler terms on how this is accomplished?
