Not sure what the 'Sam Hill' you're talking about......but it is true that SS recipients and fers and csrs annuitants get a 1.7% increase in Jan of '15. The rest of us working stiffs get stiffed again, with only a 1% general increase!!

So tell me again why I keep working instead of retiring?!? :suspicious:

Gotta love that auto correct. I meant we get the same amount. I've had better raises being retired the last 4 years than if I had been working!

You are working to get the annuity amount higher. Step increase or grade increases. Maybe to pay off some bills and pay living expenses with a higher income? I ask myself these questions daily.

The government is screwing their own workers over and over, and who are they giving your money to, don't you think we need a change?

We usually get better raises under the democrats..so yeah get those tea party guys out.
