BUY AMERICAN

Over the years I've had mostly European and Asian cars...

Since I am worried about our economy and keeping our people working..I Traded in my 03 Jaguar for a New 2011 Linclon MKZ AWD..Frankly, it is a whole lot better than the Jag ever was..rides and handles like a dream and has more gadgets and gizmos than you can shake a stick at..Great car, loving it.
Nice looking car Buster. We have 2 cars the Wife has a 4Runner and I drive a 1995 Nissan pickup:laugh:. I'd post a Pic of the Nissan but don't want to scare anyone.

The FORD Fusion is made in that same Sonora, Mexico plant that Buster's MKZ was made in.

Jeep Patriots are made in Belvedere, Illinois, but will be discontinued in 2012, with production shifting to a new, smaller Jeep model to be built by Fiat in Italy. Chevy Impala is currently built in Oshawa, Ontario Canada, but will be moving to Detroit late in 2012.

The Chevy Malibu is one you ought to try and drive if you get a chance. Mileage is 33 MPG from it's 2.4 liter engine/with 6-speed transmission now. And it handles well. Try it, you might like it. It's built in Kansas City, Kansas, and will also be shifting to expanded production in Detroit's Hamtramck Assembly plant in late 2012.

Try a Malibu.

I've rented more than a few cars over the last 3-4 years, and I've been impressed with some of the American models I've driven. Standouts were the Ford Fusion (mid-size sedan) and the Jeep Patriot (mid-size SUV). I don't know where they're assembled, but they had a smooth ride, handled well, and accommodated my family of 4. Chevy Impala you can keep, though. Drives like a boat (even though it's about the same size as the Fusion), and gets terrible gas mileage.

I also used to work in the service department of a Chrysler dealership, back in the days of Iacocca. They had some sweet rides. Nothing like being 18 and running errands in the boss' convertible LeBaron. Oo:cool:h yeah...

If the VIN number starts with a "1", it's final assembly location is within the USA.

If the VIN number starts with "2", it's made in Canada.

If the VIN number starts with "3", it's made in Mexico.

I presume your VIN number starts with "3", correct?

wow dint know that
