I cannot believe you continue to chastize people about being negative... both of the f-15 guys are fine according to everything I've read.

Both men are fine according to news. Both were captured by rebels (the ones being helped by coalition forces). One has already been returned to US forces and the other one is in the process of being returned.

It was only his second wife, not his first.

Gaddafi has seven sons and one daughter by two wives. He married Fatiha, a teacher, within months of his 1969 coup. He is said to have met his second wife, Safia Farkash, a nurse, at the birth of his first child, Mohammed, who is now 40.

The wife that fled was reported to be Safia, the second wife.

Smart lady. I would presume she didn't want to share the same fate as one of his sons. The sixth son- Saif al-Arab, was a Lt. Col. in the Libyan Army, and was killed by NATO forces recently.
