Currently starting out at 90G, 10 F. Not quarterbacking, just a statement. Previous buy and hold guy (5 years in TSP, 10 years mutual funds before that). New at trading, we'll see how it goes.

Going 50C and 50S 29 Jun. I see the C & S funds reversing and going bullish. A little bullish on the I but to a lesser extent. Of course, the Fed comments could change all of this tomorrow. Just my $0.02. :^ Good luck with your trades.

Looks like double tops for S,C, and I and freefall for the F.

Tom,

I could not find my account thread. Any ideas on where it went? Thanks,

I've been playing wall flower and sponge at this site and others for the past year and a half. I'll try to be a more active participant from now on. I've been trading funds for a little over a year now (was buy and hope before that). I try to use candlesticks, TA, and sometimes gut feelings to make my moves. Please feel free to give advice as I'm still a newbie. Also, only follow my moves at your own peril.

Good Hunting.

I'm still cautious on the I Fund. EFA is moving sideways between 66 and 67. The last 2 days have a little of a Harami pattern (bearish) look, although not a true one. Will wait and see. If EFA can break 67 will probably move some to I fund. Currently 70 C, 30 S. Good Hunting.

Decided to pull some out of stocks. EFA (I) is pushing at the 67 resistance so moving a little there. Mostly wait and see for the next couple of days.
50G/20C/20S/10I.

Good hunting out there.

Was itching to add to stocks with this morning's performance, but with the historical performance on Monday after quadruple witching, I decided to just stay at the current 50% stock allocation. Have a great weekend.

Market looks good today. I expect the I fund to do well tomorrow and maybe have the dollar loose a little as well following the FED announcement. A whole bunch of people are flocking to the I fund today. Good hunting.

Bailed on the C and S, both showing 3/9 crossover to the dark side. I fund is still bouncing around in 66 to 67 (EFA) range with resistance at about the 66.5 level. I think the dollar may still go lower, which would be good for the I, but don't want to stick my neck out completely if the I decides to drop lower. Currently trying to sidestep the bears and catch the bull going the other way. Good hunting.

Fear and Greed. Right now the Fear is winning out. The I fund finally started catching up with the C & S for the week. Expect all three to take a little (?) rest now.

Decisions, Decisions. I fund had a Doji cross yesterday and is currently down this morning (EFA -.24%) coupled with the dollar up today. S had a spinning top yesterday and is pretty much even (Doji cross right now) for today. F started downhill yesteday and is holding even (a lot of indecision today). C fund shows the most promise; up a little yesterday, but levelling off and in the upper Bollinger band 3 days straight (usually pulls back after that). Sometimes the best thing to do is to hang onto what you have and ride the storm out. Staying 100 G for now.
Good Hunting.

I had been riding the wave (40C/40S/20 I), but I have to make an early decision this morning. If I made it last night I would have stayed put. After the PPI this morning, I am going to back out a little (25G/25F/15C/25S/10I). If this is a short pull back, I'll get back in. If it looks bad at the end of the day, I will probably bail completely. Good Hunting.

Market jumped this morning, then started to pull back. I have thought for a while that once the Dow hit 12K would be a good place to lock in gains before a pullback. It hit it this morning and th C & S started sliding back. I think I'll play wait and see for today.

Definitely looking tired, and who wouldn't be after the run it's had?

Ask yourself, do you feel lucky? The S&P has recently been levelling off or going slightly down for 3 or 4 days after bouncing off the top Bollinger Band. It gets back around the 9 day MA, then it takes a good climb back to the top of the band. We're currently on day 3 of that level off. I think I'll take a swing at catching the bounce. If it doesn't work out, I'll be back out soon.

Good Hunting.
