Abu Dhabi Fund Seeks to End Citigroup Share Purchase

Where did they get the $10B to loan to Dubai World this past Sunday?

I have my theories, but I can see the collateral being invested back home in US Treasuries.

I say screw these guys. They speculated on a POS company and lost. Where's my refund?

This is dilution in progress. Anyone who believes this administration won't succeed in trying to inflate has been reading too much John Mauldin on the weekend.
The Citi shares/person ratio is 4.22. There are only four other US stocks that have enough shares outstanding to give every person in the world at least one share -- General Electric (1.59 shares/person), Bank of America (1.48), Microsoft (1.33), and Pfizer (1.21).

There's always going to be winners and there's always going to be losers. The bigger issue at hand is- maybe Abu Dhabi really is in liquidity troubles and can't afford to buy Citi at $31 as previously agreed...
