A subtle positive indication of things to come

It means exactly what it says. Nothing more nothing less.

I am one not to get too wrapped up in partisin bickering (which BTW is EXACTLY what the DC Snakes in suits want us to do). I am also someone that can't be successfully trolled very often if at all.

Not sure WHAT set me off in that direction - maybe something else was on my mind... ?

Congrats to your family on the daughter's new position.

I thought you all would be interested in knowing that my daughter got the call and was hired yesterday into the third largest Comm. Interior Design firm in the country.

This is the best Christmas present ever as far as mom and I are concerned. We are sooo very proud of her!

It's gettin better, one small step at a time, and that's good for all of us.

Have a wonderful Holiday season, and bring on that Santa rally! BOOOOYA!
Congrats and BOOOOOYA! to you and your daughter....Merry Christmas!

You mean we SHOULDNT tax all the (EVILLLL) RICH???

(who hire people looking for jobs)

And reduce spending in the District of Criminals?

Dude, that might create middle-class prosperity and get people off unemployement.

dangerous thinking, indeed.

Thanks Maggie. She hopes to find out if she got the job in a couple of weeks.

Mom and I have everything crossed that can be.

Merry Christmas! (I'm not at all PC)

Thanks for sharing the information. Yes, if companies need design work that's a very good sign of at least intermediate nature. And, Elgallo, I hope it ended up being great news for your little chick as well. :)

My daughter, a Commercial Interior Designer, lost her job 2 years ago at a rather large design firm on the West Coast, and until very recently had been out of work.

She bumped into someone she knew who is associated with an even larger firm, and was asked to submit her portfolio, and schedule an interview.

I won't bother you all with the details of the interview except to say that she was informed that the position(s) avail would be full time, and not soley assoicated with a particular project where upon completion she would be layed off, which is a prevelent occurance in this particular industry.

This company has so much work now that they are hiring full time because they cannot keep up.

I consider that a bit of a positive for those of us willing to risk it all in the stock markets.
