37 pct of Americans paid a late fee in the last 12 months, report finds

I’m not gonna read the article, but the headline gets my attention. When finally out on my own, and even throughout my Navy enlistment, I had no money. Just getting by took it all. Doctor bills, dental and the like were the easiest to put off. Rent was often a day or two late. There was barely enough money for beer and concert tickets.

However, since starting my career and all the way through retirement and up until now I’ve not missed one payment on anything. I consider it a life accomplishment, whether I ever get rich or not.
