Fair, enough, Milk! And good luck with your own TSP and other investing. You're back on the tracker here, right?

It's a good place to see TSP and market news and links. I wouldn't have heard about Causey's TSP show (among other things) if I didn't stop in here once in a while. Ideas? no. There are some good traders here but I've always done my own research. As for a challenge, Fundsurfer keeps up...

Hello everone, It's been awhile since I posted. As for the so-called "lie," the Performance page clearly says: "These results are based on backtesting (1/1/1997 to 9/26/2005) and real-time results since 9/27/2005." I made several key changes to my system in mid-September of 2005. I...

    TSP pay advice websites

Yep, Tom, and I still owe you that...sorry! I will do another series on annuities but that's about all I can do. I'm not sure if anyone else can take the task on after that, but Wheels and others here give some good advice in the threads. As for FundSurfer, no I'm not working with him in this...

    Market Talk / July 2 - 8

As a rule, bond traders are considered to be smarter and more sophisticated than stock traders. However, bonds/bond traders didn't react with nearly the same euphoria last week after the Fedspeak. Maybe the two groups are just getting a little closer to equilibrium...

    SystemTrader's Account Talk

Moderators, I request we close this thread since I'm no longer posting allocations. I can post in other threads if I want to make comments on the general market, etc. Regards, ST

    Suggestions for "TSP Tips?"

The latest TSP Tips addresses some of those questions. I'll try to address the others later. I just sent it to Tom, so it probably hasn't been posted yet. ST

    Tally for June 06

That's interesting... In the rest of the trading/investing world people beg for transparency. They want nothing more than to see a trading system, pay site or self-proclaimed guru allow a third party to verify their results. That's the whole raison d'etre for sites like www.timertrac.com and...

    Tally for June 06

I'm sending my moves to FundSurfer for his monthly and longer-term tallies. I like the idea of having a third party verify results. I also approached www.timertrac.com about this, but they weren't willing to track TSP returns/services. I can send my returns periodically to Rokid if he wants...

    Market Talk / June 4 - 10

Once again, 1250 is coming into play. I think the key is whether we get a CLOSE that's definitively below 1250. So far, the price keeps testing but ultimately rejecting the 1240-1245 level.

    Market Talk / June 4 - 10

Looks like 1250 on the S&P 500 is again the major battleground between bulls & bears. We'll see who wins this round soon enough...

    Bull Pen - June 2006

No problem, I didn't take it as criticism. It will be interested to see what happens this summer. I do think a clean break and close below 1250 would be an ominous sign, if it happens...

    Bull Pen - June 2006

Well, I don't ever predict anything, so I have no idea if we'll have a rangebound summer or not. But it is a possibility. The summer tends to have more consolidation and rangebound behavior. My point was that the bulls and bears may both be wrong...at least for awhile.

    Bull Pen - June 2006

Another possibility is a rangebound summer (the S&P 500 bouncing in a channel from 1250 to 1300 and back) which will make neither permabulls nor doomsayers happy...

    Market Talk / June 4 - 10

The classic version sells at the beginning of May. Some newer variations sell during a 6-8 week "window" in April-May based on certain technical criteria.
