To Roll or not to Roll

I'm in a similar situation and it's a tough call; still undecided but leaning towards leaving in TSP b/c of low expenses, simplicity of investment choices, and away from investment sharks who may be able to take advantage of a mind growing old. - Ed

Moving your money to a 401(k) plan elsewhere.

Great idea; plus "pros and cons" of moving from or staying in TSP would be extremely helpful for us soon-to-be retirees. Ed

    Long Term Tally

    Confused about ANNUITIES

Sound advice...thank you. Historical TSP annuity rates have exceeded 9% when "i" rates were high. Interest rates will eventually go back up, and suggest when that time comes, you may want to take another look. I sure wished to have locked in Treasury Bonds at 13%-14% back in the 1979/1980...

Who wants to be a Millionaire?

I agree; start early and max out as much as possible. Our goal when I hit MRA hit in 13 months was to have $1M in our TSP accounts (mine and wife). Getting very close if not at MRA then hopefully in a few extra months. Great advice for new TSP starters. Us older TSP folks are living prove...
